I would like to add my name and say:
Climate talks are continually stalled by the seemingly intractable ground between developing countries, who will depend on fossil fuels to grow their basic level of infrastructure, and developed countries, who are scared to lose their economic position and standard of life if they move first and fast. Contraction and convergence is the only fair and simple way I can see to overcome this stalemate and provide a fair and long term pathway, which can provide the basis for the collaborative action that we desperately need.
